Qualifications et exigences
- Diplôme collégial de deux ans en Éducation en services à l’enfance;
- Preuve d’inscription à l’Ordre des éducatrices et des éducateurs de la petite enfance de l’Ontario;
- Minimum d’un (1) an d’expérience dans la planification et la mise en œuvre de programme pour les enfants de 4 et 5 ans.
Compétences
- Démontrer une bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais oral et écrit;
- Être capable de faire l’analyse et la synthèse menant à la résolution de problèmes;
- Démontrer une habileté à planifier et mettre en œuvre des programmes et des activités pour les enfants de 4 et 5 ans;
- Être capable de travailler sous pression dans un environnement mouvementé;
- Être capable de dépister les facteurs de risque et à agir de façon proactive;
- Démontrer une bonne capacité organisationnelle;
- Avoir des connaissances au sujet des lois pertinentes, des politiques et des procédures du Conseil;
- Faire preuve d’initiative, de créativité et de débrouillardise;
- Savoir travailler en équipe;
- Faire preuve de tact, de diplomatie, de discrétion et de discernement.
Sommaire des responsabilités
La personne qui occupe ce poste relève de la direction d’école et de la gestionnaire des services de la petite enfance et a pour rôle d’appuyer et de travailler en collaboration avec l’enseignante ou l’enseignant pour mettre en œuvre et planifier des activités adaptées au développent cognitif, affectif et social de l’élève, pour l’aider à acquérir entre autres les compétences en littératie et en numératie.
