ISR Extraction Manager

Denison is seeking an ISR Extraction Manager with responsibility for production related activity associated with the Phoenix wellfield and processing plant. Initially reporting through the integrated project team during construction and then to the General Manager as we transition to operations, the role manages technical, drilling and production teams engaged in ISR extraction. The role, initially focused on construction related activities, will liaise closely with the Denison selected contractor prime for the project and later transitioning to a production focus once construction is complete. This position will initially be based in the Saskatoon office and will require regular travel to the construction site. Once in production the position will be site based on a four days on/three days off schedule.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all aspects related to ISR wellfield extraction inclusive of metallurgical plant processing
• Manage and develop a growing team to achieve planned production targets and strive for operational excellence
• Develop, own and be accountable for production targets and execute in a safe, environmentally friendly manner
• Manage and own applicable ISR scopes, schedules and budgets
• Management of various consultants and contractors involved in wellfield construction.
• Lead the implementation of advanced extraction performance analytics, enabling real-time tracking of technical and economic KPIs

Requirements

You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and interested in being part of an ISR wellfield construction and operations project. You are comfortable working both in the field and in an office setting, and you take a practical, organized approach to your work. In addition, you have:

• A degree in an engineering or geoscience field and in possession of relevant APEGS designation
• 7+ years of experience in ISR operations and/or mine site production related experience
• Strong organizational and data management skills
• Good leadership skills and management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• A commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to site as required during construction and once in production be on a regular 4/3 schedule
