In this dynamic HR Manager role, you will report directly to the President at Berts Electric. You'll be responsible for placing the right people in key positions, developing their skills, and promoting a culture of accountability and recognition. Your expertise in HR practices will ensure compliance while facilitating employee growth and satisfaction in both field and office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the entire recruitment lifecycle from job postings to offers
• Design onboarding programs to ensure new hires adapt quickly
• Develop plans for career progression and leadership identification
• Oversee the performance review process effectively
• Ensure HR policies and agreements are up to date and compliant
Requirements:
• At least 5 years in HR, with 2+ in a lead role
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
• Understanding of BC Employment Standards and legal obligations
• Excellent trust-building and feedback skills
• Experience in trades or field operations is an advantage
