General Utility Worker
$21.02 per hourAramark
As part of the partnership between the Pessamit community and Aramark Quebec, we are looking for general kitchen helpers for the Hydro-Québec Manic‑3 camp.
Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off work rotation.
Transportation is provided by plane from the Montreal and Quebec City airports.
A shuttle service will be available from Pessamit and Baie-Comeau to Manic‑3.
Employees are provided with meals and single-room accommodation. Washer and dryer facilities are available.
Aramark offers highly competitive group insurance plans.
Position: General Kitchen Helpers
Location: Manic‑3
Salary: $21.02/hour
The schedule is 70 hours per week. After 40 hours, overtime is paid at time and a half.
Job Responsibilities
- Wash, transport, and store dishware
- Perform cleaning duties
- Maintain the kitchen and equipment
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Be able to respond to operational needs
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs
- Follow all current safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in a remote camp (asset)
- WHMIS certification (asset)
- Good physical stamina for lifting and carrying items
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently
