Responsibilities
Precision Machine Operation: Set up, program, and masterfully operate CNC brake presses to bend, form, and shape high-quality steel and sheet metal.

Program Execution: Seamlessly load, call up, and fine-tune pre-established manufacturing programs on the machine interface for flawless execution.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and fabrication specs like a pro.

Quality Assurance: Conduct routine, sharp-eyed quality checks using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors) to guarantee parts hit strict tolerance limits every time.

Material Handling: Safely maneuver, position, and prep heavy metal sheets and steel components within your workstation.

Safety & Collaboration: Keep a spotless, hazard-free work area aligned with top health and safety standards, while collaborating with shop supervisors to optimize workflow and cut down waste.

Qualifications
Proven Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on expertise as a CNC Brake Press Operator or Setter, ready to hit the ground running.

Industry Savvy: A solid background working within the sheet metal, steel fabrication, or custom manufacturing sectors.

Technical Sharpness: Total confidence navigating machine controllers, loading programs, and effortlessly translating blueprints into finished products.

Eye for Precision: Strong proficiency with standard inspection tools to spot and prevent bending defects early, ensuring flawless quality.

Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for a full 9-hour shift and safely lifting up to 50 lbs as needed on the shop floor.

Reliability & Communication: Fluent in English to seamlessly follow technical orders, and equipped with reliable transportation to get you to our Brantford facility every day.
