Manulife Senior Financial Analyst Role

Contribute to Manulife's success as a Senior Financial Analyst, specializing in fund expense management and precise reporting in a hybrid workplace. The ideal candidate will work within the GWAM Operations team, focusing on fund expense accuracy for diverse investment accounts. This role demands reviewing fund expenses, preparing necessary reports, and liaising with external stakeholders such as NAV agents and auditors. You will facilitate improved financial practices while supervising expense allocations and enhancing reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage fund expense budgets thoroughly
• Validate and monitor fund expense variances closely
• Calculate HST blended rates and manage expense ratios
• Generate internal and external reports with intricate details
• Propose improvements in fund expense management processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• At least 5 years of relevant financial experience
• Deep knowledge of fund accounting processes
• Expertise in Excel for reporting tasks
• Accounting designation (e.g., CPA) preferred
