Real Estate Senior Legal Counsel Role

Elevate your career as a Senior Legal Counsel in a prominent real estate investment firm operating across Canada and the United States. Engage in critical acquisitions, financing, and corporate matters while collaborating with a dynamic legal team. This role requires 7-10 years of legal experience, focusing on commercial real estate. You will work closely with business teams to navigate complex legal issues, negotiate contracts, and oversee litigation matters with external counsel. Your expertise will help address ad-hoc requests and identify potential legal risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams on acquisitions and dispositions
- Review and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts
- Manage external counsel for litigation cases
- Assist with real estate transactions from an in-house perspective
- Provide timely legal advice to business teams
- 7-10 years in commercial real estate law
- Member in good standing with Law Society of Ontario
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and drafting abilities
- Able to manage pressure and deadlines
