Part-Time Administrative Position
The Wellness Group (TWG) located in Aurora is looking to hire a flexible Administrative office assistant that is looking for a part-time position to work 1-2 times per week along with Saturdays. High school students and University students staying in town are welcome to apply.
The Wellness Group is a multidisciplinary office offering Chiropractic Care, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture, Chiropodist, etc. Your role will be to run the front office of a fast pace multidisciplinary clinic. Efficiency, exceptional multitasking and organization skills are a must! The Wellness Group has gained a 5-star reputation for offering the upmost in patient service and care. The candidate must have a genuine friendly, caring and welcoming personality along with a calm demeanor that can handle the stresses of a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of all health care services offered at TWG and the role that each service offers in patient care. Knowledge of Extended Health Benefits, Direct Billing via Telus, MVA and booking programs, jane.app is helpful but not required.
Available Hours- 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling patient appointments for all practitioners, responding to patient calls and emails, managing patient flow, etc.
- Billing and collecting payment.
- Billings Extended Health Insurance via Telus
- Posting on Facebook, Instagram, and Google
- cleaning of office following closing- vacuuming, mopping and windexing reception etc.
Salary: $17.50-$18 depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Aurora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative : 1 year (required)
Work Location: In person
