As the People & Culture Leader at the Ontario Energy Board, you’ll develop innovative strategies to enhance human resources and engage employees. This directorship is integral to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
This position requires strategic oversight across HR functions, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Board and other leaders, you will drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and organizational effectiveness. Your expertise will help navigate labor relations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a high-performing HR team
• Advise on employee relations and organizational changes
• Cultivate relationships with unions, partners, and stakeholders
• Oversee employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Report on human capital metrics for strategic decisions
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
• 10 years of HR leadership in regulated sectors
• Experience in collective bargaining and labor negotiations
• Strong presentation skills for engagements with executives
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and best practices
