Sensity Sensory Program Development Specialist

Sensity seeks a Sensory Program Development Specialist to lead inclusive recreational programming for the deafblind. Utilize sensory channels to create engaging, personalized experiences. The role demands a deep understanding of sensory-informed practices and programming for individuals with diverse communication needs. You will oversee the Snoezelen and music rooms while working on training, community partnerships, and program evaluations. This position will play a critical role in reducing barriers to participation. Key Responsibilities:

• Design inclusive sensory and recreational programs
• Oversee Snoezelen and music room logistics
• Coordinate maintenance of sensory equipment
• Develop community partnerships around programming
• Monitor and assess program quality and outcomes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Recreation Studies or related field
• At least three years’ experience in inclusive programming
• Familiarity with sensory-informed practices
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid Class G driver’s license and reliable vehicle
