Mining Infrastructure Engineer Position Val D'or (Val-d'Or)

Elevate your career as a Mining Infrastructure Engineer in this permanent position contributing to project planning and execution. Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to enhance site infrastructure reliability. Reporting to the Superintendent, Engineering, you will manage mechanical engineering projects and liaise with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Your expertise will resolve technical challenges, optimize systems, and improve operational practices to strengthen site operations. You’ll also be involved in budget preparation and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical engineering projects across departments
- Perform technical calculations and field surveys
- Provide continuous technical support to teams
- Design and update maintenance and engineering procedures
- Contribute to budget preparations and long-term planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Member in positive standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Valid general explosives permit
- Knowledge of equipment and systems is an asset
