- Dessiner et monter des réseaux uniphasés dans des bâtiments nécessitant un ou plusieurs compteurs
- Épisser, joindre et raccorder les câbles
- Procéder aux essais de continuité des circuits, en mesurer la tension, la charge, l'intégrité de la mise à la masse, etc.
- Déterminer les types de matériaux et les méthodes appropriées pour effectuer des travaux dans des endroits dangereux
- Localiser et isoler les défauts
- Monter des câbles de surface ou aériens
- Mettre à la terre ou en masse des dispositifs, des systèmes et des montages électriques, y compris des piscines et des spas
- Rénover le système électrique de bâtiments résidentiels et commerciaux
- Lire et interpréter des plans, des cartes, des dessins et des spécifications
- Certificat de qualification d'électricien/électricienne
- Certificat en Systèmes d'information sur les matières dangereuses en milieu de travail (SIMDUT)
- Formation d'apprentissage de niveau deux
- Formation d'apprentissage de niveau trois
