Regional Environmental Health Safety Manager

Johnson Controls, Inc.

Lead regional EHS strategy remotely for Johnson Controls, using incident investigation and workers’ compensation expertise across Ontario and Manitoba.

This manager directs strategic EHS initiatives and supports a culture of EHS excellence across regional operations. The position partners with leadership, EHS teams, and the compensation team. Key focus areas include compliance, corrective actions, audits, and claims support.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Johnson Controls’ regional EHS strategy and implementation
Lead incident investigations and identify root causes
Deliver EHS training based on needs and regulations
Conduct audits and track improvement plans
Manage first-aid and workers’ compensation claim support

Requirements:

Occupational Health and Safety certificate, diploma, or degree
Seven to ten years of EHS experience
COR Certified Auditor with seven-plus years’ experience
Knowledge of Ontario OHSA, WSIB, and Manitoba legislation
Valid driver’s license and 30–40% regional travel availability

Bring field-focused EHS leadership, compliance knowledge, and claims-management expertise to Johnson Controls’ regional operations.
