Job Description

To provide quality patient care to postpartum women, newborns and their families.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
• Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
• Breastfeeding certificate required.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required.
• Perinatal Nursing Certificate an asset.
• Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with families.
• Demonstrated ability to support the breastfeeding woman.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.

Additional Information

Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, nights, 19:30 to 07:30 (Hours subject to changed based on operational needs)

Salary : $36.08 to $39.02 per hour
