Reinforcement Learning Research Intern
Huawei Canada
Apply reinforcement learning and large language model expertise as a Huawei Canada Intern in Ottawa, contributing to advanced wireless research.
Working with the Advanced Wireless Technology Wireless Lab, you will design and implement learning methods for graph optimization and complex scheduling. The internship suits master's or PhD students in Computer Science or related fields. You will collaborate with researchers to turn ideas into proof-of-concepts while following AI advances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design reinforcement learning for graph-structured optimization problems
- Implement solutions for complex scheduling problems
- Enable language models to learn from feedback and interaction
- Prototype and integrate research ideas into proof-of-concepts
- Contribute to scientific papers and track AI literature
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a master's or PhD degree
- Studying Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with machine or deep learning
- Research experience in reinforcement or self-supervised learning
- Knowledge of agentic, multi-agent, or Meta-RL
