Senior Manufacturing Procurement Buyer

Senior manufacturing procurement in Penticton calls for ERP/MRP expertise and strong supplier negotiation skills. Work on site supporting production materials and components.This senior-level Buyer manages strategic and operational purchasing for manufacturing operations. The work covers raw materials, fabricated components, equipment, and production supplies. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Operations while balancing cost, quality, lead time, and availability.Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for manufacturing materialsReview production schedules, BOMs, and ERP/MRP requirementsIdentify shortages, long-lead items, and supply disruptionsCoordinate purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, and expeditingMaintain accurate supplier and pricing information in ERPRequirements:
Minimum five years purchasing experience in manufacturingPost-secondary education in supply chain, business, or procurementExperience sourcing fabricated components or industrial materialsProficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong negotiation, organizational, and communication skillsApply manufacturing purchasing expertise, supplier negotiation, and ERP/MRP skills to keep Penticton production materials available.
