Full-Time Litigation Legal Assistant Role

This full-time position emphasizes legal document preparation and effective management. Our client, a reputable law firm located in downtown Toronto, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant. With at least two years of legal experience, you will be responsible for managing the legal documentation process, including opening and closing files. Engage with various legal practices while honing your skills, offering varied experiences within the firm. Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage opening and closing of legal files
Draft, proofread, and file documents to meet deadlines
Provide transcription support for legal meetings
Oversee inboxes and calendars for multiple attorneys
Maintain organized and confidential document systems

Requirements:

At least 2 years of legal experience required
Familiarity with commercial litigation and case handling
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Completion of a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma is preferred
