Security & Clearance Requirements

The Opportunity

We are seeking a relationship-driven, consultative Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist / Advisor to join a high-performing recruitment team in Montreal. In this role, you will partner directly with engineering leaders and multidisciplinary hiring teams to identify, attract, and secure top-tier technical professionals shaping the future of space technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Talent Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams, assessing technical headcount requirements, defining target candidate profiles, and advising on current market dynamics.
• Proactive Sourcing & Pipelining: Direct source and headhunt passive engineering, software, and advanced technology talent through modern recruitment platforms, talent communities, and industry networking.
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the complete hiring lifecycle from intake to offer closure—conducting thorough competency-based screenings, coordinating structured interviews, and leading salary negotiations and reference checks.
• Candidate Experience & Brand Ambassadorship: Provide a transparent, professional, and positive candidate journey that showcases the company’s vision and culture.
• Process Improvement & HR Initiatives: Recommend enhancements to recruitment workflows, contribute to diversity and inclusion staffing initiatives, and participate in strategic HR projects as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 8+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within a high-tech, aerospace, engineering, or complex manufacturing environment.
• Technical Domain Acumen: Demonstrated background recruiting technical profiles across software, systems, computer, and engineering disciplines.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English .
• Stakeholder Management: Proven track record advising and influencing hiring managers at all leadership levels.
• Execution & Mindset: Self-directed, highly organized, and results-oriented with strong business acumen and a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting.
• Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Special Clearances & Compliance

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Government Security Clearance at the Reliability Status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) .
