Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment team. This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing and headhunting , making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong initiative, and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
You will collaborate closely with a team of recruiters and partner with Hiring Managers and HR to attract and deliver top talent across a variety of retail store roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume requisition load (up to 100 roles simultaneously) across store-level positions
- Drive proactive sourcing and headhunting strategies using platforms such as , Indeed, university/college job boards, and other sourcing tools
- Conduct outreach to passive candidates, with a focus on university students and early-career talent
- Build, maintain, and nurture strong talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs
- Partner closely with recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR to prioritize requisitions and respond to urgent hiring demands
- Manage job postings and oversee full-cycle recruitment activities from sourcing through offer stage
- Lead and participate in weekly status meetings with stakeholders to review hiring progress, metrics, and strategy
- Contribute to recruitment strategy sessions and presentations
- Support ad-hoc recruitment initiatives and special projects as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of recruitment experience (in-house or agency)
- 3+ years may be considered with strong agency and headhunting experience
- Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment environments
- Strong background in direct sourcing and headhunting, including experience filling niche or hard-to-fill roles
- Experience recruiting within retail or similar high-volume industries is preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. market dynamics and employment regulations is required
- Experience using ATS platforms (e.g., Workday) is considered an asset

- English (required)
- Mandarin (strong asset)
