HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

GDI Services hôteliers is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor for one of its business partners, Eurostars Old Montreal Suites & Apartments .

Located in the heart of Montreal, the establishment occupies an iconic building from the early 20ᵉ century, where the elegance of classic architecture meets a contemporary and bright interior.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in the customer experience by closely collaborating with the Director of Housekeeping to ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and satisfaction. Your motivating leadership and contagious energy will be essential in inspiring the team and contributing to the operational excellence of the establishment.

HERE’S WHAT YOUR DAYS MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

• Inspecting rooms, floors, and public areas;

• Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures related to the standards set by the establishment and GDI;

• Supervising and coordinating the housekeeping team;

• Working collaboratively with the Director of Housekeeping;

• Ensuring the opening and closing of the department;

• Checking and noting any repairs or damages found, both in rooms and public areas; and if applicable,

• Assisting in planning and managing work schedules according to occupancy;

• Managing disciplinary records in collaboration with the Director of Housekeeping;

• Responding effectively to various customer requests;

• Participating in the administrative tasks of the department.

YOU ARE OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IF…

• College degree in hospitality management is an asset;

• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required;

• Previous experience in the hospitality field;

• Available to work weekends;

• Able to work under pressure, make decisions, and effectively manage problems;

• Possesses autonomy and dynamism;

• Has a sense of initiative and discretion;

• Excels in customer service and staff management;

• Has motivating leadership;

• Bilingualism (French-English) written and oral.
