Position Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the President and is responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Prepare and post job descriptions to appropriate websites
- Source and attract candidates using various tools
- Create and maintain applicant records.
- Efficiently fill open positions.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
- Support weekly and quarterly reporting as required.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and issues.
- Provide support for improvement initiatives.
- Schedule & facilitate pre-employment reference checks.
- Assist with onboarding procedures for new employees
This position will be eligible for bonuses based on successful placements in addition to their base pay .
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT recruitment which includes project coordination in a large enterprise setting
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to build long-term business relationships in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate level required, Advanced preferred).
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of job boards and social media recruitment tools
