Warehouse Returns Associate

Job Responsibility:

TDL Gentek is seeking an experienced, detailed, technically minded and ambitious individual to join our returns department and be a part of our growing organization.

We are Canada's best wholesale source for consumer electronics, communication solutions and custom installation products catering to residential, commercial and mobile electronic markets.

As a Returns Associate at TDL Gentek, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers' satisfaction through efficient and accurate handling of product returns. This role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Duties include:

• Direct handling of incoming customer return requests that arrive to us by phone, front counter, email, website and fax.
• Handling bulk returns from our larger customer accounts.
• Assess return requests and authorize those that qualify and decline those that don't.
• Communicate effectively with customers about the status of their return in a thorough and professional manner.
• Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of product to determine next steps.
• Determine the correct processing of return requests, for example, replacement or credit.
• Ship replacements and issue customer credits.
• Issue claims with vendors and follow up to ensure claims are processed in a timely manner.
• Unloading couriers and transports.
• Other general warehouse work as needed, for example, shipping and receiving.

Experience in the following areas is an asset but not a requirement:

• Familiar using Microsoft Office Suite of products and MSBC.
• Proficient using MS Excel
• Technical knowledge of consumer electronics, residential and/or commercial custom installations, wireless and fiber.

Conditions:

• 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
