Job Responsibility:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Material Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring efficient flow and tracking of materials from suppliers to job sites, supporting smooth project execution and inventory control. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery, distribution, and inventory of materials across multiple job sites and warehouses
- Maintain accurate records of material orders, deliveries, usage, and returns
- Communicate daily with suppliers, internal teams, and project managers to ensure material needs are met
- Track and report on material shortages, backorders, and delivery delays
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation of stock levels
- Support the implementation of inventory tracking systems and material control processes
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored according to safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, inventory coordination, or material handling (2+ years preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using software tools for inventory and logistics
- Valid driver's license (asset if travel between sites is required)
- Experience in construction, telecommunications or manufacturing is an asset
