As People & Culture Manager Colleague Relations you will help shape an exceptional colleague experience by partnering with leaders on employee relations engagement recognition and workplace culture. Through a visible and approachable presence you will build strong relationships and champion Fairmonts culture of care and hospitality.
This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Pay Range: $72000 - $85000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
Job Duties Include:
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and leaders through a visible presence across the hotel
- Serve as a trusted partner on employee relations workplace concerns and team success
- Coach leaders to create engaging inclusive and high-performing teams
- Lead investigations conflict resolution attendance and performance management processes
- Drive colleague engagement recognition and culture-building initiatives
- Lead Employee Engagement Survey action planning and continuous improvement efforts
- Use colleague insights and workforce trends to enhance retention and engagement
- Ensure compliance with Fairmont standards and BC employment legislation
- Help create an exceptional workplace experience that supports outstanding guest experiences
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Human Resources or People & Culture experience ideally within hospitality or a service-focused environment
- Proven success supporting employee relations and coaching leaders
- Strong understanding of BC employment legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters
- Organized solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced operation
- Passionate about engagement culture and creating exceptional colleague experiences
