The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) has identified a growing need for culturally responsive group care options for large sibling groups while maintaining their connections, their families and culture.
To address the gap, CYFN will be opening the doors to Auntie’s House in late summer 2026
Job Summary: Reporting to the Auntie’s House Team Lead, the Auntie’s House Case Worker will be responsible for providing culturally appropriate and holistic services in areas of child protection, family services, and children in care. The incumbent will act as a resource person, navigator, advocate and support person to preserve the family.
Screening Criteria: Post-secondary education in social work, social sciences or relevant field and/or equivalency obtained through coursework and/or experience. A minimum of two years’ experience working in a social service agency, with responsibilities related to child welfare. Preferably in a First Nations organization.
Salary: Level 9: $88,404.73 - $110,541.13
Category: Term to March 31, 2027, Full-time. (Including evening and weekend shifts).
