Executive Director for Opera Atelier

Opera Atelier

Lead Opera Atelier as the Executive Director in Toronto. Drive fundraising, operational strategies, and artistic vision with passion and expertise in the performing arts. As Opera Atelier's Executive Director, you will report to the Board and work closely with its Founding Co-Artistic Directors. This role requires strong leadership in fundraising, financial stewardship, and operational sustainability. You'll cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to ensure the organization's mission flourishes. Key Responsibilities:

Build effective relationships with Board Members and internal teams
Lead fundraising strategy aligned with artistic vision
Oversee financial planning, including multi-year budgets
Act as an ambassador for Opera Atelier's mission
Foster an inclusive culture emphasizing equity and diversity

Requirements:

Experience in senior roles within a performing arts organization
Proven success in fundraising and grant writing
Strong financial management and budgeting skills
Excellent stakeholder and Board management abilities
Passion for the arts and community engagement
