Registered Nurse for Resident Care

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Shape resident experiences as a Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This position focuses on holistic care within a long-term care environment, prioritizing patient and family needs. As an RN, you will be integral in the total care of residents, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and therapeutic environment. Your commitment to the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care and expertise in long-term care will enhance the quality of life for residents. Experience in supporting those with cognitive challenges is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

Provide holistic care to a designated group of residents
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Advocate for patient and family-focused care principles
Conduct detailed assessments to inform care plans
Offer specialized support for dementia patients

Requirements:

Active RN registration in Ontario
Current Basic Life Support certification
Background in Long-Term care required
Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for person-centered care practices
