THE ROLE The Sports Facilities Supervisor ensures clients are provided with information regarding the facility, services, programs and activities; document and communicate incidents, accidents or damages; inspect equipment and facilities for safety and ensure corrective action is taken; organizes the submission of program and activity information; supervises and trains employees; prepares employee work schedules and standard operating procedures; prepare bank deposits and ensure reconciliation of cash; oversees processes such as registration; and several other related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses College diploma or certificate in Recreation, Public or Business Administration or a related field AND some years of experience in a related field Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification Experience In personnel administration In budget administration In general office administration Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
