The Specialist, Learning & Development plays a key role within the Strategic Projects & Design team, helping design and deliver impactful learning experiences aligned to Deloitte’s strategic priorities.
What will your typical day look like?
This role helps build and deliver learning experiences, working with team members and stakeholders to turn learning needs into effective and scalable solutions. The Specialist supports multiple workstreams within larger programs, applying learning design principles and strong project management practices.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop learning programs, assets, and experiences that are clear, engaging, and aligned to business needs
- Own and deliver components of learning projects, managing timelines, creating deliverables, and ensuring quality
- Support activities like needs analysis, content creation, and curriculum development
- Coordinate project work, tracking progress and keeping deliverables on track
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to gather input and refine solutions
- Apply adult learning design principles to ensure clear, consistent, and effective outputs
- Collect and apply feedback to improve learning solutions and processes
- Flag risks and identify improvements to strengthen outcomes and efficiency

The Strategic Projects & Design team brings Deloitte’s learning strategy to life—partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to build programs that accelerate priorities, strengthen leadership capabilities, and prepare our people for what’s next. We drive end-to-end learning design, from needs analysis and curriculum concepting through delivery and evaluation, using adult learning principles and modern practices to create standout learner experiences.

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:
- Has 2–4+ years of experience in building or supporting learning programs, curriculum, or talent development work
- Has experience owning or contributing to project workstreams, ideally in a corporate environment
- Can design clear, structured learning content using foundational adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Use good judgment to manage work and adapt to changing needs
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of deliverables
- Communicates clearly with stakeholders, both written and verbal
- Can manage multiple priorities independently and keep work moving
- Proactively identifies improvements and ways to work more efficiently
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
- Exposure to leadership development or capability-building learning programs
- Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National, bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
