Position: Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

Location: Burnaby, BC

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities

• Power distribution design

• Arc flash studies

• MCC design for medium and low voltage systems

• Equipment specifications

• Preparation of engineering deliverables including schematics, datasheets, and construction work packages

• Field support including testing, commissioning, and system start-up

• Support procurement activities including vendor document review and bid evaluations

• Work collaboratively with clients to understand objectives and support successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Registered P. Eng with EGBC

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Proven ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams

• 7+ years of consulting engineering experience. Able to work independently and manage assigned project scope with little oversight.

• Field experience with power distribution, 600V and up Protection and Control

• Single line design and load calculations

• Protection and Control

• Grounding design

• LV and MV equipment and switchgear design, specification, and procurement

• ETAP experience: An ability to prepare studies for ETAP such as short circuit, arc flash, etc.

• Fluent in the application of CEC in design applications.
