Burlington Optometry is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, have a passion for eyewear, and thrive in a patient focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame selection and lens choices based on their vision needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Provide guidance on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products.
- Perform accurate optical measurements to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Complete frame fittings, adjustments, and eyewear repairs.
- Process eyeglass and contact lens orders with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional optical dispensary.
- Collaborate with the optometry team to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous optical experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Experience in a patient care, retail, or service focused environment is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Comfortable using technology and learning optical systems.
