Hydroelectric Site Quality Assurance Engineer

Support Voith Hydro projects from Brossard by managing site quality for hydroelectric construction, installation, testing, and customer acceptance.This Engineer, Construction and Commissioning Quality Assurance position serves as the primary quality interface across site teams and technical stakeholders. You will deploy customer, contractual, regulatory, environmental, and Voith requirements during field execution. The assignment includes inspection readiness, quality records, supplier oversight, NCR resolution, and turnover documentation.Key Responsibilities:
Verify site compliance with contractual, regulatory, environmental, and quality requirementsCoordinate customer inspections, audits, surveillance activities, and readiness reviewsReview inspection records, test reports, commissioning records, and SAT documentationMonitor vendor and subcontractor quality performance at construction sitesTrack risks, recurring issues, overdue actions, and lessons learnedRequirements:
Technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction, or qualityDirect experience with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teamsKnowledge of ITPs, quality plans, hold points, and turnover documentationExperience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvementAbility to travel frequently and communicate fluently in French and EnglishBring hydroelectric site assurance, inspection planning, supplier oversight, and bilingual stakeholder management to Voith Hydro.
