What will you do?

As Client Service Manager - Fire Systems , you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, fostering strong relationships, driving service growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition to customer account management responsibilities, you will oversee and deliver small service projects and system modifications within your portfolio, acting as the owner of all service-related activities at customer sites from initial request through successful completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Account & Service Management

• Continually review customer needs/demands and advise on and optimize the activities of Service Technicians accordingly on all assigned service accounts i.e. maintenance visits, repairs, training demonstrations etc.
• Advise Service Supervisor and Dispatcher on service visits and handle all call-back problems.
• Manage the Contract Renewal process for assigned accounts in conjunction with the Service Manager; Review and ensure contract costs are accurate to ensure repeat year on year profitable renewal.
• Renewal costs to be sent to customers and agreed upon at least one month prior to end of contract year.
• Serve as the overall owner of service delivery for assigned customer accounts, coordinating maintenance, repairs, small projects, technical support, and customer communications to ensure seamless customer experience.

Service Projects & Small Works Management

• Own and manage small service projects, system modifications, repairs, and upgrades for assigned customer accounts from proposal development through execution, close-out, and invoicing.
• Act as the primary service lead for assigned customer sites, ensuring all service-related activities are coordinated, delivered, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Generate customized competitive proposals for small system modifications and repairs based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on larger or more complex projects when appropriate.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Liaison with other contractors/sub-contractors where necessary to ensure site operations are fully coordinated; Negotiate the most cost-effective solution for sub-contract suppliers and all other suppliers in-line with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Liaise with Service Project Sales to share service leads and support the quotation process and maximize opportunities.

Location: This position supports the Toronto area. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office and / or on-site presence at customer sites.

What will you need to succeed?

Education & Industry Experience:

• 5+ years’ Fire Alarm Systems experience is a must.
• Sprinkler and Suppression knowledge is beneficial.

Customer & Business Acumen:

• Strong customer focus - able to sell small work, manage service maintenance performance, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Commercially and technically aware.

Organizational & Communication Skills;

• Proven organizational skills - able to plan effectively and prioritize workloads including the ability to multi-task and delegate effectively.
• Self-motivated and calm under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• IT literate.

Other Requirement(s):

• A valid and unrestricted G/Class 5 driver's licence and personal vehicle is required to participate in the Siemens Fleet Program and for travel to customer sites within assigned region(s).
