Caregiver Needed For Person With Disability
Part-time
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and patient female caregiver to provide support for a disabled male client. 📍 Location: North Edmonton 🕐 Hours: Evenings and weekends only ⏰ Schedule: A few hours per day, flexible based on availability 💰 Pay: Great pay Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and supervision
- Taking him for walks and getting him out of the house
- Assisting with daily activities as needed
- Helping create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment
- Supporting recreational and community activities
- Being attentive to his individual needs and preferences
- Helping with housekeeping
- Female
- Caring, patient, dependable, and compassionate
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Caregiving, support-work, healthcare, or related experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle preferred, as transportation may be needed for walks and community outings
- Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts
- Comfortable working independently
- References required
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Check may be required
- Must have Valid work permit
