Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead key HR initiatives and provide strategic support across the business. This role will oversee a team of HR professionals while partnering closely with leaders and employees to drive engagement, performance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and people strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, attendance management, workplace accommodations, policy interpretation, and employment legislation.
- Partner with business leaders to support organizational design, workforce planning, employee development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on leadership development, performance conversations, progressive discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Support and deliver training programs on HR-related topics, policies, and best practices.
- Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of employee data within the HRIS system.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on HR system enhancements, testing, implementation of new features, and process improvements.
- Manage disability, workplace injury, and return-to-work programs while liaising with employees, managers, payroll, benefits providers, and third-party administrators.
- Oversee benefits administration and support the review and evaluation of employee benefit programs.
- Coordinate compensation benchmarking activities, including participation in salary surveys and market analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP designation (or working toward completion) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, disability management, and employment legislation.
- Experience managing or mentoring HR team members.
- Hands-on experience working with HRIS platforms; exposure to UKG is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.
