Responsibilities
- Always ensure passenger safety.
- Contribute to the smooth running of flights by coordinating flight attendants and ensuring aircraft cleanliness.
- Ensure that all safety devices are functional on board the aircraft.
- Greet passengers, explain and demonstrate emergency procedures.
- Check the general condition of the aircraft cabin and ensure that all necessary supplies are on board.
- Serve meals and beverages to passengers and broadcast in-flight messages.
- Complete SMS reports when required.
Qualifications
- Hold a recognized flight attendant diploma combined with relevant experience as a flight attendant or in a customer service context.
- Possess a valid Canadian passport and be able to hold a restricted area airport pass.
- Be safety conscious and able to always communicate clearly.
- The ability to react quickly and effectively to unforeseen circumstances or emergency situations is essential.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position, and knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.
