Wigmore Regional Hospital City/Town: Moose Jaw Department: Connected Community Care - MHAS Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: November 28, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Mental Health Therapist - Staff $35.546 to $43.466 Travel Required: Yes Job : The incumbent is accountable for the provision of direct concurrent mental health and addictions services to adults and their families. These services include case management, individual and group counselling and public educations/consultation in the area of mental health and addictions. The incumbent shall apply recovery principles and function within practices of Mental Health and Addictions program management model. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- 2 years working experience in community mental health and addictions services
Education
- Degree in Nursing or relevant Health Sciences Degree acceptable to the Employer
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to be self-directed, creative, collaborative and to have sound judgement
- Above avg. clinical assessment,case planning, consultation & supervision skills
- Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
- Knowledge of Sask Model of Recovery Services and motivational assessment process
- Work co-operatively/effectively with other staf...
