The Municipality of Port Hope is inviting community-minded residents to apply to serve on local boards and quasi-judicial committees for the 2027–2030 term.
Local boards and quasi-judicial committees play an important role in supporting transparent, informed, and community-focused decision-making. Participation provides residents with an opportunity to share their skills, experience, and perspectives while helping guide the future direction of our community. Residents who are interested in contributing to municipal decision-making and supporting the continued growth and well-being of Port Hope are encouraged to apply. Members appointed to the Property Standards Appeal Committee receive annual remuneration of $400. About
The Property Standards Appeal Committee hears and makes decisions on appeals related to Property Standards Orders. The Property Standards Appeal Committee also serves as the Animal Services Appeal Body, if needed, and hears and makes decisions on appeals related to orders to restrain.
