Counter Server

Job Responsibility:

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests promptly.
• Sanitize tables, utensils, and service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of food supplies and restaurant materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail in order taking and service delivery.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
