Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD to design, build, and manage scalable and secure Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bicep/ARM templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, and containerized application deployments, ensuring efficient and reliable infrastructure provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Bicep and ARM, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployments
- Deploy and manage Azure resources across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Prod) using pipeline automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure deployments and pipeline failures
- Implement and enforce security and governance controls, including RBAC, least privilege access, and Azure Policy
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards through governance guardrails and best practices
- Collaborate with development teams to support deployment of React and .NET applications on Azure container platforms (AKS, App Services, Containers)
- Maintain documentation for IaC, pipelines, and deployment processes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud engineering
- Proven experience deploying React and .NET applications on Azure container platforms
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and ARM templates
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
Technical Skills
- Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Releases)
- Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, ARM Templates
- Azure Services: App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, Key Vault
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
- Scripting: PowerShell / Bash
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and security-first design
- Familiarity with Terraform (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments
