Certified Dental Assistant

ââââââAn innovative and progressive dental office in North Vancouver is seeking a Level II Certified Dental Assistant  to join their team of dedicated and caring professionals for maternity leave coverage . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CDA who enjoys surgical dentistry and is confident assisting with advanced procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced with CBCT and optical scans, suture removal, post-operative patient education, and assisting with periodontal and implant surgeries.
Schedule:
- Full-time: 37-40 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm
- Maternity leave coverage
- Off for 2 weeks in August
Compensation & Benefits:
- $33-$36 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
- Yearly healthcare allowance
- Health care bonus after 12 months (up to $1,000 after tax, increasing to $1,500 after 3 years)
- 2 complimentary dental cleanings per year
- Free parking or  $100 monthly transit credit
- Uniform allowance
- $150 sneaker allowance
- Continuing Education (CE) fully covered, including PDC
Requirements:
Please apply only if you meet the following criteria:
- Valid Level II CDA certification  in British Columbia with the BCCOHP
- Minimum 1 year of Canadian experience
- Experience taking CBCT and optical scans
- Proficient with suture removal
- Confident providing post-operative instructions  to patients
- Experience assisting with periodontal and implant surgeries
