We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer - Full Stack to lead the technical design, development, and integration of modern full-stack web applications. In this role, you will build responsive frontend interfaces using ReactJS while engineering robust backend microservices, REST APIs, and database-driven applications using Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot. You will lead technical integration tracks connecting web platforms with enterprise APIs, identity management systems, video communication channels, and standards-based healthcare interoperability feeds.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – as needed onsite)

Duration: 8-month contract

Responsibilities
Full-Stack Application Development: Design, build, test, and maintain responsive ReactJS frontend components alongside Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot backend microservices.

API & Video Platform Integration: Integrate Pexip and Zoom APIs into web application workflows, building capabilities for virtual waiting rooms, session routing, meeting initiation, and multi-party participant management.

Interoperability & Data Integration: Design, implement, and troubleshoot HL7v2 interfaces and FHIR APIs related to scheduling, user context, and operational workflows.

Identity & Access Management: Integrate backend applications with NetIQ workflows and enterprise IAM systems to enable role-based and context-aware access controls.

Legacy Modernization: Support the retirement and replacement of legacy application components by building secure, modern, and maintainable software architectures.

Search & Operational Analytics: Implement AWS OpenSearch integration to support search capabilities, logging, discovery, analytics, and operational troubleshooting.

Testing & Release Management: Partner with QA resources to conduct unit, integration, interface, and regression testing while supporting defect resolution and release readiness.

Technical Documentation: Author technical design specifications, API documentation, data mapping guides, deployment notes, and knowledge transfer materials.

Qualifications
ReactJS Development Seniority: 7+ years of hands-on ReactJS development experience building complex, production-grade web applications (Strictly Required).

Java & Spring Boot Mastery: 10+ years of Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot development experience, including backend microservices, REST APIs, and database-driven applications (Strictly Required).

Video API Integration: 5+ years of hands-on specialist experience integrating Pexip APIs and Zoom APIs into enterprise applications (Strictly Required).

Interoperability & Clinical Workflows: Strong hands-on experience with HL7v2 interfaces, FHIR APIs, scheduling integration, and healthcare interoperability patterns (Strictly Required).

Identity & Workflow Systems: Direct experience integrating application workflows with NetIQ or enterprise IAM access management systems (Strictly Required).

Public Sector Expertise: Prior experience developing and supporting applications within public sector environments (Strictly Required).

Desirable Assets:
Hands-on experience using AWS OpenSearch for logging, search discovery, and operational monitoring.

Practical understanding of video bridge programming and virtual visit workflow orchestration.
