Position Summary

The Track Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of track maintenance activities across the railway network. The successful candidate will lead a team of Track Technicians and contractors, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, coordinate emergency response activities, and ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. The Track Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for track maintenance activities and supports the overall reliability and performance of railway infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Track Technicians and contractors performing maintenance activities. 
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee track inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs. 
• Ensure compliance with railway operating rules, safety standards, and maintenance procedures. 
• Coordinate track access, work zones, possessions, and emergency response activities. 
• Monitor asset condition, identify defects, and ensure timely corrective actions are completed.
• Manage maintenance resources, materials, and contractor performance. 
• Complete maintenance reports, work orders, inspections, and performance documentation. 
• Promote continuous improvement, employee development, and a strong safety culture. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of railway infrastructure or track maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment. 
• Strong knowledge of railway track systems, inspections, maintenance practices, and safety requirements. 
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
