Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing them with exceptional service and expert advice on our range of cannabis products. Your role will involve educating customers about different strains, products, and consumption methods while ensuring compliance with all regulations. A passion for cannabis and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs.
- Provide detailed product information, including strain types, effects, and usage recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized display area to enhance the shopping experience.
- Educate customers on responsible consumption practices and legal regulations regarding cannabis use.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the dispensary.
- Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and changes in regulations.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and provide accurate change.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required.
- Familiarity with cashiering and POS systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in computer operation for inventory management and customer records.
- Must be of legal age to work in a cannabis dispensary as per AGCO regulations.
