Join a progressive team as a Curriculum Development Advisor, working in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This role emphasizes competency-based training to match local labor market needs with international standards. As a Curriculum Development Advisor, your primary focus will be on working with the Ministry of Labour and Skills to establish and enhance competency-based training. You will engage in collaborative curriculum development while fostering a network of certified local trainers to ensure sustained pedagogical advancements. The position also entails a commitment to transforming traditional education methods into more practical and effective training standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local authorities to implement competency-based training
- Develop high-quality occupational standards and modular curricula
- Cultivate a network of certified local Lead Trainers
- Conduct industrial gap analyses and lead DACUM workshops
- Create practical skill-based curricula incorporating digital literacy
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, Master of Science preferred
- 5 years in technical/vocational training leadership
- 2 years industry leadership or expert experience
- Knowledge of effective training practices and digital tech
- Ability to provide professional references and clearances
