Our client, is seeking a highly analytical and technical Senior Business Systems Analyst — Wealth & Investments Management to lead the technical requirements and systems integration for their investment technology portfolio.

In this senior consulting role, you will serve as the principal systems analyst and technical delivery lead, bridging the gap between business stakeholders, portfolio managers, solutions architects, and engineering squads. Your primary mission is to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements, data integration mappings, and comprehensive technical specifications for high-volume wealth platforms. This position demands an analyst who pairs deep industry expertise in wealth and investments with expert-level knowledge of RESTful APIs, data validation, and automated data integration architectures.

Duration: 11-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Responsibilities
API Engineering & Systems Integration Documentation
API Specification & Mapping: Create and maintain high-fidelity API documentation—including endpoints, methods, and request/response payloads—mapping user journeys directly to specific API actions using Swagger and Postman.

Integration Artifact Engineering: Author comprehensive core integration specifications, specifically including complex Source-to-Target Data Mappings, upstream/downstream data-flow charts, and structural business process flows.

Functional & Non-Functional Capture: Elicit, analyze, and document complex technical business requirements, converting them into detailed functional specifications that incorporate performance, scalability, and non-functional bounds.

Data Analysis, Quality & Triage
Data Integration & Quality Analysis: Lead deep-dive exploratory data analysis across integrated investment data pipelines to validate data consistency, structural correctness, and aggregation rules.

Root-Cause Remediation: Investigate system data anomalies, trace complex data lineages, and perform root-cause analysis to identify, isolate, and remediate systemic bad data quality issues.

Agile Requirements Governance: Partner with Product Owners to author high-quality epics, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria, ensuring that downstream engineering teams fully grasp underlying system behaviors.

Testing Support, Scoping & Governance
QA Alignment: Support automated and manual testing squads by translating complex functional requirements and edge-case use cases into clear test conditions for product, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

PMO Advisory & Estimations: Support project management lines by participating in technical scoping, estimating delivery efforts, identifying architectural risks, and recommending structural mitigation measures.

Quality Gate Stewardship: Lead quality management reviews on technical designs, functional prototypes, and analytical products to confirm strict alignment with macro project targets and corporate delivery standards.

Qualifications
Domain Expertise: Deep, specialized professional experience operating within the Wealth Management and Investment Management technology sectors.

Systems Analysis Experience: 10+ years of progressive professional experience operating as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst within enterprise-scale environments.

Data Integration Core: Proven, hands-on master data experience executing Data Integration, Data Mapping (Source-to-Target), and Exploratory Data Analysis.

Data Quality Diagnostic Skills: Referenceable track record of performing data quality metrics analysis, diagnosing database errors, and isolating the root causes of data corruption.

Technical API Literacy: Advanced conceptual and practical understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, and web services architectures, with documented experience using Swagger and Postman.

Agile Delivery Tooling: Strong experience delivering technology within structured Agile/Scrum environments, including writing technical stories and managing requirements.

Education: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent technical certificate.

Soft Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills; an structured professional who can solve complex engineering dependencies, interact confidently with executive stakeholders, and act independently to guide junior members.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Technical or analytical delivery experience supporting Credit Banking applications or Business Banking platforms.

Advanced certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile delivery (e.g., Scrum Master).
