Lead Design Quality Engineer MI

Become a Design Quality Lead at SEGULA Technologies in Auburn Hills, MI, specializing in automotive and aerospace sectors. Your role will involve leading quality initiatives while meeting customer expectations and industry standards. In this position, you will drive design quality from concept development through to launch, ensuring that every project meets rigorous quality benchmarks. Collaborate with engineering and TECH teams to establish processes that enhance design quality and efficiency. Your role will entail preparing updates for management and overseeing APQP/PPAP activities to address any emerging issues promptly. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design quality activities to meet customer targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality targets
- Establish design quality governance and process compliance
- Present quality updates to leadership during reviews
- Coordinate APQP/PPAP with engineering and suppliers
- Must be eligible for TN visa (Canadian citizen)
- Experience leading design quality initiatives
- Knowledge of risk assessment and quality compliance
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Capacity to conduct training and audits effectively
