NPD Quoting Associate
$50k - $55k per yearLGC Group
LGC Group seeks a Quoting and NPD Associate to manage quotation requests for existing and new products, serving customers in a life science tools environment. The role combines customer-facing quoting responsibilities with new product research and development support.
Responsibilities
- Process quotation requests for existing and new products; identify product categories and collaborate with departments to compile pricing
- Input quotations into database with customer profiles, pricing, availability, minimum order quantities, and shipping details
- Research new products using SciFinder and scientific literature; propose synthetic routes and conduct competitive analysis
- Manage customer communications via phone and email; escalate NDAs, LOAs, and complaints as needed
- Prepare and track quotation timelines; run reports and metrics on assigned requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
- 2–4 years customer service experience with product development or management exposure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro, advanced Excel, ChemDraw, and SciFinder
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Knowledge of organic synthesis (desired)
- Chemical industry experience (desired)
Compensation: CAD $50,000–$55,000 base yearly
