What You'll Do:
- Gather information about the required materials and services through factory employees and managers.
- Contact and select suppliers.
- Negotiate prices and conditions.
- Communicate the agreed conditions to purchasing staff for further follow-up.
- Build a good relationship with suppliers for long-term cooperation.
- Proactively search for alternatives and improvements to achieve the most beneficial situation.
- Question and renegotiate the contracts.
- Search for synergies across 2 sites in the Netherlands, in close collaboration with the purchasing team, internal contacts and the global Etex Purchasing community.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or economics.
- Strong commercial attitude.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
- Planning and organizing skills (determining priorities).
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid set up – few days in factories, few days from home.
