Austring, Fairman & Fekete is a well-established, full-service law firm in Whitehorse and we are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position assists in our accounting department under the direction of our office manager.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- prepare and process financial entries following filing and bookkeeping procedures
- assist in managing and monitoring trust accounts
- accounts receivable and accounts payable
- reconcile bank and credit card statements
- assist with preparation and processing of payroll and remittances
- other general administrative duties
Bookkeeping experience or coursework is not required but would be considered an asset, as would experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.
Accuracy is essential in this position so if you have a good eye for detail while still achieving deadlines, it might be the right fit for you!
This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental coverage. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
